The Marsalforn Valley runs between Xaghra and Zebbug Hills on the small island of Gozo, Malta.

In spring and autumn the rains come and fill the dams which capture water as it flows down the Marsalforn Valley to the sea. The blue water breaths life back into the landscape.

This brooch is created using traditional repoussé to shape polished sterling / 925 silver sheet into a raised form. The glass is recycled Maltese glass which has been reworked and heated to create the perfect shape for this brooch.

In the Malta Hills collection is the blue glass summer silver pendant which would make a great combination.

Approx. size: 7cm (2.8”) long and 3cm (1.25”) wide. Created by hand in recycled 925 sterling silver and recycled Maltese glass.
