This pendant forms part of a designer collection “Wind in the Sails” inspired by the wind filling the sails of a yacht.
Filigree has been used to represent the eddies and gusts of wind which move the boat through the sea. While gold symbolises the colour the sails take on at sunset. A large lapis lazuli represents the colour of the sea.
This pendant has been fully gold plated but if you prefer a mix of gold and silver, then an alternative is the sailing jewellery largest pendant with lapis lazuli. The sailing jewellery gold filigree earrings are also fully gold plated to create a matching set of jewellery.
Personalisation is possible in different precious metals, sizes of sails, filigree designs and combinations of pearls or gemstones. We can even enamel the sails to match your own boat. Please contact us.
Designed by Tara Lois, who is herself a sailor and hand crafted in Malta.
Approximate sail 4.5cm x 2.7cm (individual sails may vary). Recycled 925 / Sterling Silver gold plated sail, lapis lazuli on silver wire.
Filigree cleaning advice is given in a Guide which can be requested through a link in the Jewellery Cleaning & Care Guide blog.
