Inspired by a sculptural native Maltese aloe plant, whose lower stem bears seeds, below protruding flowers blending up from red to a soft yellow spike.

Like this statement ring, the plant expresses strength, complexity, harmony, delicacy and optimism.

The broad ring band features elegant contemporary filigree circles, curving to a comfortable soft point. Three harmoniously coloured gemstones “float” above the band; a large oval golden citrine, a smaller rectangular lemon citrine and an oval garnet.

The gold and filigree “seeds” are created from recycled 18ct gold which is melted in our own furnace and shaped into wire. The filigree wire is 0.25mm thick after being twisted by hand.

The stones are also repurposed from antique jewellery.
